“Classe pour Enfants”, is a six-week French class designed especially for young learners. This session is geared to students in Kindergarten to 2nd grade, and will be taught by Régine Whittlesey, who has decades of experience as a French teacher at the Freeport Waldorf School. The class introduces children to the French language through games, stories, and songs — creating a fun and engaging environment where kids can learn their first French words or build on what they already know.
Two things to note about this session:
- Class hours are 9am to 10am
- There is no class Saturday October 10th.
Research shows that the earlier children begin studying a foreign language, the easier it is for them to absorb it. With this program, AFDUME is proud to give children in our community the gift of language — opening doors to new cultures, new ways of thinking, and lifelong learning.
