Born in a Franco-American family in Maine and raised on both sides of the US / Quebec border, Rich Boulet is a resident of Blue Hill, where he serves as the Director of the Blue Hill Public Library. Rich is a graduate of Marlboro College, where he studied French-Canadian and Québecois literature, as well as McGill University’s Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. He is married to Cheryl Boulet and father to Joseph and Marie Louise, as well as Hugo, the cockapoo. Besides being a forever student of the French language (in particular North American variants thereof), in his spare time he enjoys adventuring by (as well as tinkering on) off-road motorcycles, camping, hiking, and, when conditions permit, skating outdoors. He comes to the Alliance Française du Maine with a background in nonprofit organizations and a desire to help expand AFduME’s geographic reach into Downeast Maine.
