Paris Beyond the Eiffel Tower

Are you planning a trip to Paris but have already visited all the usual sites? Are you tired of fighting the crowds to get into the Eiffel Tower and the Musée d’Orsay? Would you like to spend more time where people speak French—and answer you in French? Or is this your first visit to Paris, and you want to see more than the Tour Eiffel? Nikki Matheson will take you on a virtual tour of some lesser-known sites in Paris, places that reflect more on the lives of Parisians than the Parvis Notre Dame. Along with these sites, she’ll show you some of the ubiquitous street art that gives life to the city’s neighborhoods.

Nikki Matheson lived and worked in Paris for 14 years and has been a student of this enthralling city ever since. Living in Vermont since 2000, she has continued her bilingual life, teaching French across the state and serving as a translator and interpreter. We know her well through her long-term teaching at the AFLCR.
